On a comfortable salon boat
Our salon boats are built for year-round enjoyment. Large windows offer a wonderful view while you sit around the grill. In good weather the roof slides open and you eat in the open air; if it rains, the roof closes and you stay sheltered. All boats have heating and a toilet, so a BBQ on the water works just as well in May as in September.

How does a bbq on a boat work?
1 - Welcome on board
You are received at a central boarding location in Amsterdam. The crew welcomes your group and the grill is already warming up. The first drinks are chilled and ready.
2 - Departure and welcome drink
Once everyone is on board, the boat casts off calmly from the quay. A welcome drink in hand, the first bar snacks are served while the chef prepares the grill for the first round.
3 - The BBQ opens
The first plates leave the grill: skewers, marinated meats, grilled vegetables. Guests help themselves at their own pace while the salads, breads and sauces stand ready on the buffet table.
4 - Eating and cruising
While everyone eats, Amsterdam slides calmly past. Canal houses, bridges and waterside terraces. The chef keeps grilling, the plates keep coming, and guests can go back for a second round whenever they want.
5 - Dessert and coffee
After the main round comes a lighter finish: a sweet dessert, fresh fruit and coffee or tea. The pace stays relaxed, conversations continue and the boat glides gently onward.
6 - Return to the dock
The boat moors again at the boarding location. Guests leave with the taste of the grill and the view of the canals still fresh, ready for the rest of the day or evening.

A BBQ on a boat starts from €55 per person, including the cruise, a classic BBQ and a basic drinks package. More extensive packages with premium cuts and unlimited drinks are available from €75 per person.
We arrange a BBQ on the water for groups from 15 people. Our BBQ-capable boats accommodate between 35 and 150 guests in a standing, informal setup. For very small groups a buffet or plated format often works better.
Yes, we only arrange private cruises. The boat is fully reserved for your own group. The grill, the catering and the drinks are all served during the cruise, so you can focus on your guests.
No problem. All boats can open and close. In good weather the roof slides open for the outdoor feeling; in rain the roof closes and you stay dry and warm thanks to the heating. The grill stays covered and operational in any condition.
