Amsterdam under the leaves

The 400,000 trees that connect the canals of Amsterdam give a magical image of our city. It makes Amsterdam one of the most leafy cities in Europe. We can no longer wait for the warm after summer days to share the last BBQ with loved ones and friends. Not in the mood for a BBQ? No problem! For the cooler days you can enjoy a piece of apple pie with warm chocolate milk. View the nice hotspots for hot chocolate milk here!

From 16 to 20 October, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) will also take place in Amsterdam again. At more than 120 participating locations. Dancing outside until the late hours, you can also immerse yourself in dance music during the many interviews, discussions and various pop-up events. For ADE we have developed a “Happy Hour” offer so that you can enjoy a unique experience from the canals.

Are you more in a sporty mood? The Amsterdam marathon takes place on October 20th. The route starts in the Olympic Stadium and brings the runners under the Rijksmuseum, along the Amstel and through the Vondelpark back to the Olympic Stadium. This sporting spectacle provides a unique view of the city of Amsterdam not only for the participants but also for the spectators.

From November 28th you can enjoy the Amsterdam Light Festival again. The Amsterdam canals will be illuminated by numerous artists. Such as Gabriel Lester, Krijn de Koning and many others. With the exhibition “Disrupt!” The disruption is central. The artists were challenged to question the surroundings of the city with their light artworks, to test them and to wake them up. This exhibition is best viewed from our luxury boats. Enjoy the exhibition in peace. Be quick, we know from experience that these trips are very quickly fully booked.
