It’s our mission to make sure our guests disembark with a smile on their faces, thinking: “that was a very special experience”. It has become abundantly clear to us over the past years that organising boat trips isn’t about renting out a boat, but about creating an experience. This is therefore what we aim to do every single day. Our service is aimed at private individuals and companies and we offer a high-end hospitality experience. This means we prepare for, execute and evaluate every single boat trip with a great deal of care and attention from beginning to end. This allows us to create an extraordinary experience with our 7 luxury (saloon) boats and our very passionate team each and every time. I would therefore now like to proudly present our team to you.
“I will be the first person you’ll be introduced to when you contact Amsterdam Boats. I will do my utmost to establish your exact requirements by asking you the right questions. I won’t start compiling your boat trip until I feel I have acquired an accurate picture of your needs. I endeavour to offer the customer a perfect answer to his requirements, making sure everything falls perfectly into place during the boat trip”.
“As soon as a boat trip has been booked, it’s my responsibility to ensure every single part of the boat trip starts and ends precisely on time. The preparations in relation to the crew, the arrival at the boarding location, welcoming the guests and serving the food. This has to all be planned in such a way that the crew will be able to make sure all the different elements of the boat trip seamlessly feed into each other.”
“I conduct a meeting with my planning and organisation colleagues before I start preparing the boat. What are the customer’s exact requirements? Which agreements have been entered into? What kind of atmosphere would they like to create? These details will tell me exactly what needs to happen. Seeing the subsequent end result is fantastic: a shiny boat with the perfect setup, decorated with linen and flowers and neatly laid tables. I take great pride in handing over a boat like this to the crew.”
“Our beautiful classic boats are our sailing heritage and I am therefore very proud to be able to sail these boats. I enjoy welcoming the guests on board and feel passionate about telling them a little something about the boat. I point out some of the extraordinary places along the Amsterdam canals during our trip. I have been working together with a very close-knit team of serving staff, who fully understand their profession, for many years. Together we make sure our guests feel they are definitely an experience richer after their boat trip.”
