Her Royal Highness brings a touch of class to the Amsterdam canals, thanks to her royal connections.
She was built in 1913 for Prince Hendrik of The Netherlands, husband of the late Queen Wilhelmina. She was originally outfitted as a private luxury yacht with two cabins for overnight stays. Sadly, she fell into disrepair until she was rediscovered by Amsterdam Boats as a near wreck in early 2009.
HRH has now been completely redesigned and refitted by a professional team of Dutch shipbuilders who have managed to maintain her royal atmosphere while transforming her into a luxury private lounge and restaurant.
At 18.5 meters (60ft) long, and with inside headroom of two metres (6ft6), HRH is spacious and airy. She is fitted with a professional sounds system, LED lights below water that light up the canals at night and a great outdoor gallery at the back to enjoy the breeze.
The ideal location for an exclusive birthday party or a select dinner, a business meeting, product launch or even a wedding, HRH gives a regal edge to every event.
Private kitchen
HRH is also fitted with a professional kitchen and can be rented as a private restaurant seating up to 22 guests for dinner or 40 guests for drinks and finger food.
We've managed to line up a great group of private chefs to cook for you on board. For example, if you decide for instance to opt for a Japanese meal, we are proud to work with the head chef from the Michelin-starred Yamazato restaurant in the Okura hotel.
And for top-notch French cooking, we have joined forces with Sander van Dam, formerly head chef at the famous fish restaurant Vis aan de Schelde restaurant in Amsterdam.
Of course, you can also bring your own private chef to prepare your favourite dishes if you would prefer. And if you want to show off your own skills to friends and colleagues, we can make that a reality as well.
